Buyer Policy

Our market (i.e. Marketplace/Downloads) is a place where you can purchase work from sellers around the world of Midgard. We want to make sure that you have a positive experience shopping in our vending area. Please read on further to find out more about your rights as well as what is expected of you as a buyer.


This policy is associated with our General Guidelines. As a Buyer, you agree and abide by our General Guidelines and this policy document.


Midgard's Market

MC (Midgard-Community) provides a Marketplace for buyers to find, learn about, and enter into transactions with sellers around the world of Midgard. It is important to note that we, MC, is not part of that transaction. By shopping in our Marketplace, you understand that:

  • You are not buying directly from MC, but from one of the many talented sellers on MC;
  • MC does not extensively pre-screen sellers and therefore does not guarantee or endorse any items sold in our Marketplace.

We make sure before the content is approved, it passes our minimal review criteria (including, but not limited to, authorized permission to resell, accurate item information).  As a member of the community, you have the opportunity to report an item that violates any of our policies. Reporting is confidential.


Communicating with other Members


You may use the forum's built in PM system to have conversations with members. Conversations are a great way for buyers to ask questions about an item or an order. Conversations may not be used for the following activities:  Sending unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations or spam; Harassing or abusing another member; Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to; or Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member.  Contacting another member via our PM system to warn them away from a particular member or item; Posting in public areas to demonstrate or discuss a dispute with another member; or Purchasing from a seller for the sole purpose of leaving a negative review.  Harassment Using our PM system to harass other members is strictly prohibited. Similarly, Conversations may not be used to support or glorify hatred toward, or otherwise demean people based upon: race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, disability or sexual orientation. If you receive a Convo that violates this policy, please let us know right away by sending in a Support Ticket: here. 


Marketplace : Purchasing an Item

When you buy an item from our Marketplace, you’re directly supporting the user(s), each with their unique listings, policies, and support procedures. Purchases made also goes to support MC. By making a purchase from a seller on MC, you agree that you:  Have read the item description and shop policies before making a purchase;  Have submitted appropriate payment for item(s) purchased;


Leaving a Review of an Item

Reviews are a great way to learn about a seller’s items and reputation, help good sellers build a strong reputation, or help warn other buyers about a poor experience. You can leave a review, including a one to five star rating and a comment regarding your item. By leaving a review, you acknowledge that:  Your review and profile information will be publicly displayed on the seller's listing and review pages.  Reviews may not:

  • - Contain private information;
  • - Contain obscene, racist or harassing language or imagery;
  • - Contain medical drug claims;
  • - Contain advertising or spam;
  • - Be about things outside the seller’s control
  • - Undermine the integrity of the Reviews system. 

Extortion is not allowed on MC. Any attempt to manipulate reviews through threats, intimidation or bribery is considered extortion and is strictly prohibited on MC. Examples of extortion include the following:

  • - A buyer leaves a negative review in an attempt to force the seller into providing additional items that were not agreed upon in the original transaction.
  • - A buyer leaves a negative review in an attempt to force the seller into providing a refund when a refund is not warranted. 


Returning an Item

Since the items that are sold through our Marketplace are intangible (i.e. not a physical item, but a digital one) there are no returns. By purchasing the item, you automatically download the item and are therefore logged in our system. With the purchase of the item, you authorize Midgard-Community (MC) to use the log that is generated as a support case when involving disputes.
